The Guilds

How it Works

1 · Live lecture every week

One live 1.5 hour video session per guild every week. Ask questions, watch code being written, learn with the guild. If you miss a session, it is okay, we will be in contact with you to reschedule a lecture with another cohort.

2 · Take-home assignments

After each lesson you get coding assignments to submit online. Our educators review every submission personally and award XP based on adherence to our standards.

3 · Rank trials

Earn XP to unlock a rank trial: a bigger project judged by a panel of our educators. Pass it and you climb the ladder.

The Ranks

Initiate Apprentice Journeyman Artisan Master

Everyone starts as an Initiate. Finishing assignments earns XP, and each rank you reach unlocks a trial - a real project reviewed by a human. XP alone never promotes you: you advance by proving what you can do. Each guild publishes its own ladder, so you always know what the next rank asks of you.

Pricing

$99.00 CAD/month for one guild, or $24.75 CAD/lesson. Terms run 8 weeks. The more guilds, the cheaper each one gets.

  • 2 guilds — $178.20 CAD/mo ($356.40 CAD/term)
  • 3 guilds — $237.60 CAD/mo ($475.20 CAD/term)
  • 4 guilds — $277.20 CAD/mo ($554.40 CAD/term)
